About Oceanside Pier
Oceanside Pier & Bait is located on the middle of the Oceanside Pier in Southern California. You can bring your family down to catch a memory that will last a lifetime. We offer fishing rod rentals, bait and tackle, snacks, ice cream, and souvenirs. You can experience panoramic sunsets for the classic SoCal experience your family will never forget.
We offer a wide selection of supplies for a great day on the pier. We sell all the local gear and bait to supply a great day of fishing. Our staff can recommend what part of the pier to fish at; the time of day, water temperature, and bait can all be factors in catching a fish.

Souvenirs
We are the perfect stop for your vacation souvenir. We have a huge selection of nautical gifts including wind chimes, magnets, jewelry, shells, shot glasses, toys and more. We have a line of Pier Gear sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats and bags exclusive to our shop. We also sell some beach essentials such as boogie boards, sunscreen, towels, beach blankets and fishing chairs.

Snacks
We sell an assortment of drinks, snacks, soups, candy, popsicles, and ice cream. We are most well known for our Pier hot cocoa at sunset—a must-try! Take a stroll down the pier with your loved ones for an unforgettable sunset on the pier.

Fishing Gear Rentals + Bait
Rent a fishing pole for $7/hour or $30/day.
This includes a fishing rod and reel equipped with a set up of a hook and weight. We have a wide selection of bait for purchase to choose from that includes shrimp, squid, mackerel, mussels, and anchovies. When in season, we sell bloodworms.
