This includes a fishing rod and reel equipped with a set up of a hook and weight. We have a wide selection of bait for purchase to choose from that includes shrimp, squid, mackerel, mussels and anchovies. When in season, we sell bloodworms.

Most of the fish near the pier can be caught with a basic sinker rig, baited with squid, shrimp, mussels, mackerel or anchovies. We sell them all. We have a variety of weights and hooks from surf claws, torpedos, eggs and pyramids. We sell fishing plyers, towels, knives, glow sticks, sabiki rigs and more. Ask our staff for bait and tackle recommendations as we have all of the intel on what the local fishermen are catching. Call ahead to see if we have live bloodworms in stock.

You can expect year-long fishing on the pier. Fishermen are catching croaker, mackerel, halibut, bonita, stingray, bat ray, leopard shark, smelt, and sargo. Not to worry if the fish aren’t biting, just sit back and relax. You may see a pod of dolphins swim by or a couple of pelicans waddling down the pier asking for a snack. Do keep your distance as they are wild birds.
